Terms of sale (handelsbetingelser)

Terms of sale

Last updated 7 November 2026

These terms apply when you buy a session, a guide, a template or a book from me. They are written for Danish law and EU consumer rules, in plain English. If something is unclear, write to me before you buy.

1Who you are buying from

Tilen Višnjevec
Copenhagen, Denmark
info@straight-line.si

Sessions and programs are sold by me. Card payments are processed by Stripe, and the receipt and invoice come from me.

Books and paid guides are sold through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the reseller and appears on your card statement and invoice. Lemon Squeezy is responsible for payment, VAT and invoicing; I am responsible for the product itself.

2What I sell

Each product page says what is included, the format and the price.

3Prices and payment

All prices are in euro and include VAT where VAT applies. There are no other fees. Payment is taken when you order, by the methods shown at checkout. You get a receipt by email straight away. If you buy for a company, you can ask for the invoice in the company's name.

4Delivery

5Your right to withdraw (fortrydelsesret)

If you buy as a consumer, you can withdraw from the purchase within 14 days without giving a reason.

Digital products. You lose the right to withdraw once the download starts, but only if you agreed at checkout that delivery starts right away and that you lose the right to withdraw once it does. You'll get a confirmation of this by email. If you didn't agree to that, the normal 14 days apply.

Sessions. The 14 days run from the day you buy. If you ask for a session to take place within the 14 days and then withdraw, you pay for the part already delivered. Once all sessions have taken place, the right to withdraw ends.

How to withdraw. Use the “withdraw from contract” link in your order confirmation, or email me a clear statement that you want to withdraw. You can use the form at the bottom of this page, but you don't have to. I'll refund you within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, by the same payment method.

6Rescheduling and cancelling sessions

You can move a session for free up to 24 hours before it starts. Later than that, or if you don't show up, the session counts as used. If I have to cancel, you choose a new time or a full refund for that session.

7Complaints and faults

If a digital product is faulty or not as described, email me and I'll fix it, replace it or refund you. You have the rights the Danish Sale of Goods Act (købeloven) and Consumer Contracts Act (forbrugeraftaleloven) give you, including the right to complain for two years.

If we can't agree, you can complain to the Danish Consumer Complaints Board via Nævnenes Hus (naevneneshus.dk). If you live in another EU country, the European Consumer Centre (forbrug.dk/ecc) can help.

8What the sessions are and aren't

Sessions and products are general career guidance based on my own experience. They are not financial, investment, legal, tax, medical or psychological advice, and they are not a recruitment or placement service. I can't guarantee any outcome, such as a promotion, a pay rise or a job offer, because that depends on you, your employer and the market. Decisions you make after a session are your own, and you are responsible for checking that they suit your situation.

If what you're going through is affecting your health, please talk to your doctor. If you need advice on an employment dispute, talk to your union or an employment lawyer.

9Confidentiality

What you tell me in a session stays between us. I don't record sessions unless we both agree in writing. I handle your personal data as the privacy policy describes.

Guides, templates and books are for your own use. You may use the templates in your work, but please don't resell or republish the guides or books.

11Buying for a company

If your employer pays, the order is a business purchase: the consumer right of withdrawal in section 5 doesn't apply, and invoices are made out to the company. Invoiced orders are payable within 14 days.

12Limits of my responsibility

I deliver what I sell with care. Beyond that, and as far as the law allows, I'm not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost income, a missed promotion or a decision you made at work, and my total responsibility for any order is limited to the price you paid for it.

Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that can't be limited by law, including for gross negligence or intent, and nothing limits your mandatory rights as a consumer.

13The free content on this site

The notes, free guides and templates are general information, shared as they are, for free. They reflect my own experience and opinions, not those of any employer, and they may not fit your situation. Please don't rely on them as your only source for an important decision. Examples in the notes are composites with details changed, and don't describe identifiable people or companies.

14Law and disagreements

If something goes wrong, please write to me first. Almost everything can be sorted out by email, and I'll answer within a few working days.

Danish law applies. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection of your own country's mandatory consumer rules.
